The National Alliance for Accessible Golf (Alliance) is the leader in inclusion— working to ensure the opportunity for all individuals with disabilities to play the game of golf. Formed in the summer of 2001, the National Alliance is represented by major golf, recreation, and therapeutic organizations in the United States; organizations that provide services for people with disabilities; and others who advocate for the inclusion of people with disabilities into society.

NAGA currently has over 2,000 members in the United States and some 200 players from 17 other countries. In addition to its national tournaments and National Senior Championship, the NAGA sponsors local and regional tournaments throughout the country. Perhaps NAGA’s highest visibility occurred as a result of the highly popular First Swing Program which teaches adaptive golf to people with physical disabilities.

The National Disability Rights Network works on behalf of the nation’s largest providers of legal advocacy services for people with disabilities: the Protection and Advocacy Systems (P&As) and Client Assistance Programs (CAPs). Where can you turn when you have questions about limb loss? The National Limb Loss Resource Center, administered by the Amputee Coalition, provides comprehensive information and resources free of charge. All information is reviewed by the Coalition’s medical/scientific advisory committee of experts in the field of limb loss, so you can count on the accuracy of the information.
