AAA is an international nonprofit organization formed to inspire, support, and educate. Their main purpose is to give those with limb loss a real hope for the future by helping them grow in wellness in body, mind and spirit. The AAASP provides education, assistance and information to schools and community programs on integrating and developing of adapted sports programs in schools. This group provides training to coaches and officials. Our website links to rulebooks specific to adapted sports competition (e.g., wheelchair basketball, wheelchair football) and outlines the rights of students to have access to an adapted sports program.

AV is a nonprofit charity that provides a lifetime of support for veterans of all generations and their families, helping more than 1 million veterans in positive, life-changing ways each year. Annually, the organization provides more than 240,000 rides to veterans attending medical appointments and assists veterans with well over 160,000 benefit claims.

Prosthetic Hope International’s Prosthetic and Orthotic Component Clearinghouse
P.O.C.C. was created to save usable, surplus prosthetic technology from being sent to landfills while innumerable individuals around the world are in need of prostheses. P.O.C.C. provides individuals, P&O facilities, manufacturers, and distributors with a clearinghouse that enables them to make tax-deductible donations of new and gently used prosthetic goods.

All entries in the Amputee Community Resource Directory are assigned to a primary category, represented by the corresponding icon. Here are the types of resources for amputees that each icon represents:
