June 4, 2014
0

Posted June 4, 2014

The nonprofit Amputee Golf Charities is currently accepting applications for the Henry Brown Memorial Educational Scholarship for the 2014-2015 academic year. Applications must be submitted by August 1 in order to receive maximum consideration.

Amputee Golf Charities sponsors the annual Amputee Tournament Players Championship the first weekend in June in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Net proceeds from the event are used to provide educational assistance to a regional amputee in his or her post-secondary educational endeavors. Awarded as a one-time grant, this assistance will be sent to the recipient’s school of choice to be used for tuition, fees, books, etc. Actual amount will be determined based on donations and net revenues from the 2014 Amputee Tournament Players Championship.

For more information, including application requirements and how to apply, visit the Amputee Golf Charities website.
