Book by Bill Zabelny, CMP

After suffering a debilitating injury as a boy, Bill Zabelny prepared to fight the challenges ahead. In this book, he discusses his life, the loss of his leg, and his path to playing standing amputee ice hockey internationally for Team USA beginning in 2001. Zabelny ultimately became a four-time silver medalist with Team USA and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, Canada, in 2001 and the United States Hockey Hall of Fame Museum in Eveleth, Minnesota, in 2002. Both locations have permanent artifacts of Zabelny’s prosthetic leg on display.
