Blade runners and female athletes who use a prosthetic leg have an opportunity to earn $2,000 for a one-day photo shoot in Los Angeles.

An exciting new casting opportunity is putting adaptive athletes in the spotlight.
Perdi Casting is seeking athletes with limb loss or limb difference for an upcoming Cedars-Sinai print project, with two opportunities available.
Male and female blade runners: Athletes of all experience levels, running styles, and backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Female athletes with a prosthetic leg: Ideal candidates participate in roller skating, inline skating, or skateboarding, although athletes involved in other sports are absolutely welcome to submit.
Selected athletes will receive $2,000 for one day of work, with an additional 20 percent agency fee if applicable. The rate includes the fitting, shoot, and usage. The project is scheduled for November 5–7 in Los Angeles, with each athlete needed for just one day.
And here’s an added incentive: The casting team is welcoming applicants nationwide and can provide travel and accommodations for those coming from outside Southern California.

The project will feature athletes in Cedars-Sinai’s print and digital materials, including social media. Self-tape auditions are being accepted through October 30, with callbacks and bookings based on submissions.
To apply, email casting@perdicasting.com and indicate which role you’re interested in, along with your sport or athletic background.
It’s an exciting opportunity for adaptive athletes to showcase their abilities while bringing greater visibility to limb difference in sports and media.
