Team Amplitude Takes the Bronze

August 4, 2020
0

A huge thank you to everyone who supported Team Amplitude in the Range of Motion Project’s “We Still Climb” fundraiser last month. We finished in 3rd place among 60 entrants from around the globe, which ain’t too shabby. Together we helped ROMP get 90 percent of the way to their $30,000 fundraising goal.

Special shout-outs to Team Amplitude stars John Gildein, an amputee support-group leader from Indiana, and Angie Heuser, an above-knee amputee from Arizona and a regular contributor to Amplitude’s website. Both of them raised more than $100 to support ROMP’s mission of bringing prosthetic devices and care to underserved populations throughout the Western Hemisphere.

We Still Climb attracted participants from 47 of the 50 United States, and one of the three unrepresented territories was Wyoming. We wish we’d noticed that before last Sunday, because we know some good hiking terrain up there in the Equality State and could easily have driven across the border to nudge the counter to 48 out of 50.

We ended up hiking close to Denver instead; the video is on our Facebook page. Thanks again to all!
