ROMP Seeks Volunteers at Amputee Clinics

January 25, 2023
0

The Range of Motion Project is seeking volunteers to serve in its clinics in Ecuador and Guatemala during 2023. Students and professionals in the following fields are urged to apply: orthotics and prosthetics, physical therapy, occupational therapy, social work, nursing, marketing, and photography.

ROMP is currently focused on completing the cohort for its March session in Ecuador, which runs from March 24 through April 2. The enrollment form is right here. You can learn more about the volunteer experience, clinical programs, host communities, and more in ROMP’s new volunteer programs calendar.

If you’re not familiar with ROMP, you should be. This first-class nonprofit operates permanent clinical programs in Guatemala, Ecuador, and the United States, and its volunteer programs play a key role in all three countries. Volunteers work alongside local practitioners to provide prosthetic care, exchanging knowledge and skills along the way.

The full list of 2023 volunteer session dates is below:

  • February 10-19, Guatemala
  • March 24-April 2, Ecuador
  • April 14-23, Guatemala
  • July 7-16, Ecuador
  • July 21-30, Guatemala
  • October 13-22, Guatemala
  • November 10-19, Ecuador
