Gerald Stark Jr., PhD, MSEM, CPO/L, FAAOP, senior upper limb clinical specialist with Ottobock, Austin, Texas, is conducting a survey to understand the factors that influence patient acceptance of upper-limb prosthetic devices, and to identify which factors have the greatest effect on acceptance. The goal of the survey is to help prosthetists address the issues and maximize patient acceptance.
