NAAOP Webinar Discusses What Trump?s Victory Means for O&P

November 23, 2016
0

The National Association for the Advancement of Orthotics and Prosthetics (NAAOP) has released a webinar during which the organization’s president and general counsel, David McGill, JD, and Peter Thomas, JD, respectively, discuss what President-elect Donald Trump’s victory means for the O&P community. They also summarize Trump’s seven key healthcare proposal elements, as follows:

  1. Repeal the Affordable Care Act
  2. Premium tax deductions replace federal subsidies
  3. Medicaid block grants
  4. Sell insurance across state lines
  5. Expand use of health savings accounts
  6. Price transparency
  7. Reduce drug costs

The webinar can also be found on NAAOP’s recently updated website, http://naaop.org. Look for more NAAOP commentary from Thomas and Steve Postal, JD, in “2016 Election Synopsis and Impact on O&P” in the December issue of The O&P EDGE.
