OPAF hosted a full-day First Swing Learn to Golf Training and Clinic on August 15 as the kickoff event of the National Amputee Golf Association (NAGA) Championships at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club, North Plains, Oregon. The training was led by First Swing instructors W.C. Fields and Bob Tipton, PT.

Over a dozen people attended the morning session of classroom education and driving range work, and more than ten clinic participants joined the afternoon golf session, which included demonstrations of SoloRider and Paragolfer adaptive golf carts. Members of the AMP1 Stand-Up basketball team also attended the event.
