Rehab Systems Orthotic and Prosthetic Technologies, Boise and Twin Falls, Idaho, hosted back-to-back OPAF First Swing Learn to Golf Clinics on September 11 and 12. Area therapists, practitioners, and professional golf instructors were invited to these full-day events to learn about adaptive golf, techniques, and equipment. They were then given a “train the trainer” opportunity to work with the patient population for the afternoon segment. Clinics were held at Quail Hollow Golf Course, Boise, and Canyon Springs Golf Course, Twin Falls. Instruction was offered by National Amputee Golf Association First Swing instructor WC Fields, with Bobby Mourino assisting.

Each afternoon concluded with the opportunity for clinic participants and therapists to try the Solo Rider golf cart, on loan from Boise Parks & Recreation.
