Hanger Clinic, Austin, Texas, announced that its Amputee Empowerment Partners (AEP) Peer Support Program is now known as AMPOWER. The program, which will be launched in stages, encompasses three parts:
- AMPOWER Peer Support Program: A peer-to-peer support program, which is already in place.
- www.HangerClinic.com/AMPOWER: An online resource center that will provide information addressing the needs and concerns of individuals with amputations and their care providers.
- AMPOWER Events: A community events program that will bring amputees, family members, and care providers together to gain knowledge, build strength, and create camaraderie nationwide.
