For the Cosgrove family, being able to attend a camp designed for children with limb loss or limb difference was life-changing. NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt followed the family of four during their first-time experiences at Camp No Limits in Rome, Maine, where, in addition to an enjoyable camp experience, the focus is also on education, mentorship, peer support, and community-building for the whole family.

The family were among scholarship recipients sponsored by Hanger Charitable Foundation, Austin, Texas, which covers the cost of attendance, lodging, meals, and included activities for pediatric amputees and an accompanying parent or guardian.
