Hanger Clinic recently sponsored a First Swim in Charlotte, North Carolina, at the Harris YMCA. This was the third year that Hanger Clinic hosted the event. Emma Durante, OTR/L, hosted the morning classroom education for area therapists and swim coaches. The group included several physical therapy students from Elon University.

Fourteen participants attended the afternoon First Swim clinic.
In conjunction with the Harris YMCA, OPAF will begin hosting First Friday Swims, made possible through grant funding from U.S. Masters Swimming, to focus on adult learn to swim skills and drills.
