JOCKO
by Donna Lynn Crouse
Illustrated by Anya Aubertin

In this illustrated children’s book, Carol, a new amputee, struggles with her limb loss and fears that she will no longer be able to do the fun things she used to do. But, after reluctantly going on an outing, she makes a new friend—a monkey named Jocko, who has a prosthetic hand. Jocko changes her perspective on limb loss and teaches her valuable lessons about living with a disability.
