Rehab Systems Orthotic and Prosthetic Technologies, Boise and Twin Falls, Idaho, hosted an OPAF First Swing Learn to Golf Training and Clinic at Quail Hollow Golf Course in Boise. This was the second consecutive year that Rehab Systems hosted the event. Instruction was provided by W.C. Fields and Robert Tipton, PT, both National Amputee Golf Association instructors.

The morning session, for occupational therapists, physical therapists, and local golf instructors, included classroom instruction about grip, stance, balance, and safety, followed by work on the driving range. The afternoon session, for the local patient population, included golf instruction and the opportunity to use Quail Hollow’s SoloRider golf cart, which provides access to golf for those with physical or mobility challenges.
