Robin Williams’ Family Establishes Fund to Aid CAF

Zelda Williams, the daughter of Robin Williams, announced that the Williams family will establish a charity fund in the late actor’s name to continue his longtime support of the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF). She will deliver a $50,000 donation to CAF at the Noble Awards in Beverly Hills, California, on February 27, to benefit the newly established Robin Williams Fund. The prize will be presented to honor Williams and his teammates who regularly participated in CAF’s annual San Diego Triathlon Challenge (SDTC).

Marking six months since her father’s death, Zelda Williams appeared on the Today show on February 26, saying that she and her two brothers want to continue his legacy as a philanthropist.

On March 6, CAF is hosting A Celebration of Will, A CAF Gala to Honor the Legacy of Robin Williams, a sold-out event and fundraiser that “celebrates the support and energy he brought to the foundation,” according to the CAF website.
