Curbell Plastics Inc., Orchard Park, New York, sponsored Orthotic and Prosthetic Activities Foundation (OPAF) First Dance and First Stride events in Dallas on November 18. The events were held at the Bachman Therapeutic Recreation Center in partnership with the University of Texas (UT) Southwestern Medical School. First Dance uses ballroom dancing as a means to get active and work through social awkwardness and other challenges. First Stride focuses on the basics of walking and mobility for participants.
In addition to helping organize the event, UT Southwestern students served as volunteers.
