FOR ADVERTISERS
- Starting in 2024, Amplitude will vastly expand its print audience reach by distributing office copies to every O&P facility in the United States. These 3,000 O&P locations collectively serve more than 1 million amputee patients. Adding these venues to our print circulation model will place Amplitude (and your advertisements) in front of tens of thousands of new readers each issue.
In addition, Amplitude will begin distributing to health facilities that routinely refer amputees to O&P clinics, including (but not limited to) physical therapists, occupational therapists, podiatrists, hand specialists, PM&R physicians, VA clinics, and diabetes educators. These distribution nodes will provide an additional source of new readers, with emphasis on recent amputees who are just gathering knowledge about amputee-focused products and services.
As always, Amplitude will continue to reach a national audience of amputee readers via individual print subscriptions mailed to home addresses. And we will continue to reach thousands of readers every week through our digital channels, including Amplitude’s weekly e-newsletter, website, social media channels, Amputee Resource Directory, and Paralympics microsite.
We estimate that each print edition will reach an audience of at least 150,000 readers. The estimate is based on the conservative assumption that each O&P office copy will reach just one reader per business day. (Standard industry models suggest that actual reader engagement will probably be much higher.)
We anticipate the greater visibility of our print edition will reinforce the ongoing growth of our digital audience, which has increased 1,000 percent in this decade. Amplitude today reaches more than a quarter of a million online readers each year.
An official audit can’t be completed until our model is fully implemented. Audience reach projections are based on industry standard auditing practices. Models suggest that Amplitude’s actual audience reach will easily exceed our conservative estimate of 150,000 readers per print edition.
