2024 Outlook: Competing as a teenager at the Tokyo Paralympics, Barta missed the podium by just two-tenths of a second in the 200 meter race. Her time was good enough to set a new American record, however, and she followed up with a gold medal in that event at last year’s Parapan American Games. Now 21, she could reach the podium in both the 100m and 200m.
