Paralympic medals: 2 Silver

2024 Outlook: After winning silver at the last two Paralympics, Danz looks poised to win her first gold in 2024. She has won all but one of the international races she’s entered since the Tokyo Games, and the lone exception—the World Triathlon Para Cup in Paris last August—omitted Danz’s strongest discipline (swimming) due to poor water quality in the Seine. She prevailed easily in both of her head-to-heads last year against Alyssa Seely, the teammate who beat her for gold in 2016 and 2020. The last time Danz missed the podium in international competition was in 2017.
