Written by a 22-year-old with a congenital limb difference, the colorfully illustrated children’s books Uniquely Me and Uniquely Brave follow the story of a boy with one hand. In Uniquely Me, the boy goes on an adventure to discover why he’s different from the other kids he knows, and in Uniquely Brave, he teaches his friends what bravery is.
Author Trace Wilson says the books were “written to help kids with disabilities understand, accept, and love their unique differences.”
